Will Aishwarya Rai oblige herEndhiran director Shankar and release the audio of his S Pictures forthcoming filmRettai Suzhi which has music by Karthik Raja?Ash is now in Chennai for a 10 day shoot of her Sun Pictures magnum opus Endhiran with superstar Rajinikanth and others. Shankar had asked her to keep herself free on Monday (March 15) morning for the audio launch at Sathyam Cinemas.

Venkat Prabhu after the lukewarm success of Goahas started the shoot of his new film Poochandiproduced by T Shiva of Amma Creations (Sarojaproducer), from Thursday (March 11) in Chennai.The film has his all time favourite , his brother Premgi and Shiva( Tamil Padam) as heroes. It is said to be a double hero subject and a comedy. The music will be by another regular Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Silambarasan who was on a whirlwind tour of Tamil Nadu to promote his filmVinnaithandi Varuvaaya (VTV), was mobbed by his ardent fans in a theatre in Salem town.The incident happened when Simbu fans mobbed their favourite hero as he was coming out of the car he was travelling at a theatre complex in Salem. They wanted to shake his hand and in the melee, the actor sprained his right hand.

Her first film is titled 2010 Bakyaraj has Premji Amaren and Ankitha in the lead role.Says Sona: “This will be a slick and stylish film and I want to make quality films with minimum budget The film is directed by Thirumalairajan and script has been written by Venkatramani and I believe only Premgi can it pull off”.

But, publicity and extent of release are only peripheral factors. Does Azhukkan have the right ability to outgrow these limitations and get noticed?

For the same reason, the Lohithadas stamps are palpable all over Aval Peyar Tamilarasi (APT henceforth) – a tale of love and redemption set in the rural backdrop of Tirunelveli, between a vagrant girl and an affluent guy. Not that we have a dearth of love stories, the treatment of the story stands apart and the mellifluous narration deserves a special mention.
