Director Jayam Raja is back to doing what he is best at - remakes - and proves that he is after all a master in this craft. This time around, he has used the Telugu flick Kick to adapt to Tamil settings with plenty of spices to augment the original product. After an impressive performancein Peraanmai, Ravi is in his home turf under Raja’s baton. The brother duo combination along with Tamannah and an ensemble star cast has delivered a lengthy (solid three hours and ten minutes) entertainer.

 All roads led to a star speckled high profile wedding reception of superstar Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya and Ashwin.

Rajini made sure that all his close associates for many years and friends in the industry showed up at the grand function. This included celebs like Chief Minister of Tamilnadu M Karunanidhi, AR Rahman, top directors, actors and actresses. 

 The audio launch of Avni Cinemax’s fifth film Nagaram was a grand affair at the Satyam cinemas today evening (Sep 4).

The event was attended by several Kollywood personalities and politicians. The audio was launched by none other than the Kalaignar himself and received by Kamal Haasan in the presence of Rama Narayanan, Vairamuthu, music director Thaman, heroine Anuya, hero Sundar C and producer Khushboo.
